CPCD...giving children a head start

Do you love to teach computer skills to others? Do you have a lot of patience for teaching these skills online?

Then we need you! As you know COVID has created a new type of work environment for many and we here at CPCD are no different. We need an experienced Chromebook user willing to share their expertise virtually with our staff. We would like to offer a couple of classes to allow staff to sign up for the one that best fits their work schedule.

The type of training we are looking for is basic computer skills of how to use a Chromebook. The training should be very basic with things such as where to find files, what the various applications are, tips and tricks for using a Chromebook etc.

If you are interest please contact Maritssa Torres the Volunteer Coordinator at CPCD... Giving Children a Head Start at mtorres@cpcd.org

Mission Statement

CPCD prepares children for success in school and life by providing excellent comprehensive early childhood services in partnership with diverse families and the community.

Description

CPCD is committed to the comprehensive early childhood development model, which is at the basis of its successful Head Start and Early Head Start programs. CPCD serves just under 2,000 prenatal through five-year-old at-risk, low-income and special needs children and their families. We operate classrooms in six school districts. Our two generation approach provides parents with education, services and training to help them be their child's first and best teacher.
