Second Harvest Food Bank Santa Cruz County
We need volunteers to help at the drive-through food distribution.
*BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH SPEAKERS PREFERRED
1. Volunteers will be directing traffic, taking information from clients, and loading food into cars
2. Volunteers need to be able to stand for long periods of time
3. Volunteers are advised to wear layers and comfy shoes
4. Volunteers will be REQUIRED to cover their mouth and nose at all time
5. Volunteers will be interacting with the county population, distancing is encouraged, but 6 feet may not be possible to maintain, due to the nature of the information intake that needs to happen.

20,000 sq ft food bank serving Santa Cruz County through 200 agencies and programs. Community, food industry donations and USDA food distributed to low-income families and individuals through indirect and direct services. We serve 55,000 people a month. We partner with 100 local non profits, providing them the food so they do not have to source it themselves.
