We need volunteers to help with contactless drive through distributions at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. This is a fantastic opportunity to help serve the 75,000 community members that we provide food to each month. Tasks include (but not limited to): registering participants, traffic control, and loading food bags and boxes into cars. In this position, you must be able to lift 25 lbs. (we will have a very limited amount of openings for tasks that wont involve heavy lifting).

Mission Statement

We inspire and support Santa Cruz County to provide nourishment for all community members!

Description

We are the first food bank in California, founded in 1972, serving Santa Cruz County residents through 100 partner agencies and 60 program sites. We partner with around 100 local non profits, providing them the food so they do not have to source it themselves.
