After spending all week staring at screens, are you ready for something active, social, and meaningful to kick off your weekend?
Gather a few friends, family members, coworkers, or just bring yourself and help our amazing kitchen staff prepare dinner at the 4:00pm-7:00pm shift.
Volunteers are urgently needed for Friday dinner shifts at the Tacoma Rescue Mission as we serve up to 300 hot dinners each day, especially as the weather turns colder.
No experience necessary. We have a job for everyone!

We provide emergency services such as shelter and food to the homeless or hurting; offer self-sufficiency programs to help lift a person from poverty and break the chains of addiction; support prevention programs and share our Christian faith.
Description
Without your gift of service, we are not able to accomplish the work we do. By volunteering, you are able to walk alongside those in need throughout our community and be a symbol of hope to the hurting individuals that are experiencing homelessness. Whether you are an individual, family or group, we would love to find a volunteer opportunity for you!
