Help job seekers practice and hone their interviewing skills by conducting one-on-one mock interviews virtually.

Requirements:

• Excellent listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact patiently, constructively, and cooperatively with job seekers, volunteers, and staff
• Must be comfortable interviewing individuals via phone or other virtual applications
• Keen attention to detail
• Willingness to give constructive feedback
• Knowledgeable of various interviewing styles

• Work with clients and job seekers of all skill levels

• Experience in Human Resources or as a hiring manager preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

• Review job seekers’ resumes and, if provided, desired job postings
• Select appropriate interview questions from prepared list
• Conduct a 15 - 20-minute mock interview
• Coach job seeker through interview process
• Using recommended survey, score job seeker’s performance and answers during interview
• Provide constructive feedback

Availability:

• Commitment of at least three months is ideal to provide consistent support
