Help job seekers practice and hone their interviewing skills by conducting one-on-one mock interviews virtually.
Requirements:
- Excellent listening, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to interact patiently, constructively, and cooperatively with job seekers, volunteers, and staff
- Must be comfortable interviewing individuals via phone or other virtual applications
- Keen attention to detail
- Willingness to give constructive feedback
- Knowledgeable of various interviewing styles
- Work with clients and job seekers of all skill levels
- Experience in Human Resources or as a hiring manager preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Review job seekers’ resumes and, if provided, desired job postings
- Select appropriate interview questions from prepared list
- Conduct a 15 - 20-minute mock interview
- Coach job seeker through interview process
- Using recommended survey, score job seeker’s performance and answers during interview
- Provide constructive feedback
Availability:
- Commitment of at least three months is ideal to provide consistent support
