Role Description:


Our interns provide hands-on support to the M.O.B.B. United communications team. This role assists with the process of rolling out content and initiatives on behalf of the organization.


This is an unpaid internship, which requires a 10 - 20/hrs per week and a 12 - 16-week commitment. (length of the internship can be extended)


Skills required:


  • must have an understanding of social content creation tools i.e, Adobe Illustrator, Canva.
  • must possess a working knowledge of social content scheduling tools including Hootsuite.
  • must possess a working knowledge of email and Google Docs
  • must have a working knowledge of video editing tools for weekly content deliverables.

Responsibilities:


  • manage the execution of a social media calendar
  • manage the process for content delivery to the MOBB United social media platforms
  • create digital assets to drive viewership of episodic content
  • cut up to 4-6 promo videos each week
  • create relevant captioning for social media posts
  • assist with researching and scheduling timely, relevant content on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook via Hootsuite
  • source and create compelling visual assets and (video/photo) for social posts
  • research interesting articles and posts from partner accounts support build-out of creative content to be shared on social channels, including photography and editing

  • gain credited content as editor or associate as appropriate
  • learn the value of a "social voice" and how to impact the community by using carefully timed and worded postings of relevant content
  • develop a strong understanding of social content and social narration

Upon completion, interns will receive a verification letter and/or credit based on your educational institution’s requirements.
