Just Speak is seeking a highly skilled dance student who is proficient in hip hop, Congolese, contemporary, majorette, and jazz with the ability to choreograph routines for middle and high school students. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this will be a virtual class via Zoom. The candidate must have access to quality internet, PC or laptop or tablet with camera. They must be able to volunteer 3+ hours weekly to instruction. The candidate will be trained in certain trauma-informed modalities, and is not expected to possess these skills. However, they must understand and be able to execute movement therapy with our students in our MOVE program. This is not a dance class, it is movement therapy using the art of dance
This is a virtual volunteer position, which will be monitored by our Executive Director. All Just Speak volunteers are required to have a DHS Clearance/background clearance.
Volunteers must have quality internet service, a PC, laptop or tablet that is compatible with Zoom. Highly skilled dance teams are welcome to apply for this volunteer opportunity.
