Mission Statement

Powerful Progress (formerly Lawyers for Progress) is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization providing education, access, and resources to further economic justice and build intergenerational wealth by reducing inequity in marginalized communities.

Description

Powerful Progress is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization providing education, access, and resources to further economic justice and build intergenerational wealth by reducing inequity in marginalized communities.

We are developing a catalog of youth friendly video, audio and written materials in finance, investment, entrepreneurship, law, tax, and business including self help tools. Our board consists primarily of recognized wealth and investment advisors, lawyers, influencers, and related professionals who are dedicated to furthering the mission.

A local effort to provide laptops to public school students in need has grown quickly and is expanding rapidly. Our helpers take discarded laptops, clean and update them, and provide them to students identified through one of our board members as needing one.
