FarmSahel is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with a mission to unlock the potential of Sahel communities to achieve economic freedom through sustainable permaculture. We teach regenerative agriculture to smallholder subsistence women farmers of Burkina Faso, and supply them with agricultural input to help transform non-renewable agriculture into regenerative permaculture systems and enable higher growth yields through social equality. All FarmSahel’s activities focus on the end goals of improving food security and soil fertility with an emphasis on community-based, participatory methods.

About the Google Ad Grant
The Google Ad Grants is a program offered by Google to eligible nonprofit organizations. It provides a grant of free advertising credits of $10,000 a month on the Google Ads platform to help nonprofits raise awareness, reach their target audience, and promote their mission and initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Google Ads Account Management: manage FarmSahel's Google Ads Grant account, ensuring compliance with Google's policies and guidelines. Optimize ad campaigns to maximize reach and impact.

  2. Keyword Research: Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-performing keywords related to FarmSahel's mission and initiatives. Use this research to build effective ad campaigns that target the right audience.

  3. Ad Creation and Copywriting: Develop compelling ad copy that effectively communicates FarmSahel's mission, goals, and impact. Create engaging text ads and display ads that drive traffic to our website and other relevant landing pages.

  4. Campaign Monitoring and Optimization: Regularly monitor the performance of ad campaigns, including click-through rates (CTR), conversions, and other relevant metrics. Make data-driven decisions to optimize campaign performance and budget utilization.

  5. Ad Grant Compliance: Ensure that all ads and campaigns adhere to Google Ads Grant policies. Stay updated on any changes to Google's policies that may affect ad performance or compliance.

  6. Conversion Tracking and Reporting: Implement conversion tracking to measure the impact of ads in achieving FarmSahel's goals, such as website sign-ups, donations, or volunteer registrations. Provide regular reports on ad performance and key metrics.

  7. Collaboration with Marketing Team: Coordinate with FarmSahel's marketing and communications team to align ad campaigns with broader marketing strategies and organizational goals.

  8. Stay Updated with Google Ads Best Practices: Continuously research and stay informed about Google Ads best practices and industry trends. Apply this knowledge to improve the effectiveness of FarmSahel's ad campaigns.

Requirements:

  1. Experience with Google Ads: Previous experience in managing Google Ads campaigns, especially Google Ads Grants, is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of Google Ads platform and features.

  2. Digital Marketing Skills: Familiarity with digital marketing concepts, including keyword research, ad copywriting, and ad optimization.

  3. Passion for Nonprofit Causes: A genuine interest in sustainable permaculture, community development, and empowering smallholder subsistence women farmers in Burkina Faso.

  4. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze ad performance data and make data-driven decisions for campaign optimization.

  5. Self-motivated and Reliable: Able to work independently and meet deadlines, with strong attention to detail.

  6. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective ad copywriting and reporting.

  7. Equipment and Software: Access to a computer with internet connectivity to manage Google Ads campaigns and communication with FarmSahel's team.

FarmSahel collects used farm machinery donated by farmers in the United States and ships them to rural farmers in Africa, trains them in ecologically safe farming best practices. Farmsahel has developed a training model for agricultural education that encourages partnerships with US farmers to share their knowledge with our rural farmers. At Farmsahel we believe that farmer sponsorship has the power to drive change that ripples throughout farmers's lives, their families and their communities.
