Grocery Delivery - Volunteer Drivers Needed

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: The Health Trust

The Health Trust HIV/AIDS Services program delivers groceries to homebound seniors and adults throughout Santa Clara County. Our HIV/AIDS Services program is in need of volunteers to help deliver groceries to our clients. For many of our clients, the Grocery Delivery volunteer is the only person they may see all day or even all week. Grocery Delivery volunteers enable many older adults to remind independent and bring peace of mind to family and friends.

About The Health Trust

Mission Statement

Our Mission: To build health equity in the Silicon Valley.

Our Vision:

A healthier Silicon Valley for everyone.

We at The Health Trust believe that if Silicon Valley is a community where innovation is changing the world, then it also can be a community where innovation changes the lives of everyone - especially our most vulnerable residents - for the better.

As we strive to make our vision reality, we reflect the values of Silicon Valley. When we tackle a problem, we take the broad view. We rely on expertise, partnerships and best practices to generate solutions that will have the greatest impact on those we serve. We invest in projects that are sustainable, show measurable results and provide the greatest return on investment for the community.

With a strong emphasis on prevention, we focus our work through three initiatives: Healthy Living, Healthy Aging and Healthy Communities. Through direct services, we are helping one person at a time. And through policy advocacy and grantmaking, we are changing the local environment to promote healthy eating, healthy aging and healthy living.
