DIG - Day in the Garden at the Tulsa Botanic Garden
Tulsa Botanic Garden (OKLAHOMA CENTENNIAL BOTANICAL GARDEN INC)
DIG is a family friendly event at the Tulsa Botanic garden. We have two shifts available 9:00 am to noon or noon to 3:00 pm. We need 8 volunteers per shift.
Activities include two child centered entertainers, craft kits for children, hula hoops, a pre-selected box lunch etc. Masks will be worn and all CDC and health and safety guidelines ill be observed.
DIG will have timed admissions and only 150 guests per time slot and advance tickets are required. Guests will bring blankets for seating and socially distance.
We need volunteers to help with distributing craft kits, directional helpers etc.

The mission of Tulsa Botanic Garden is to promote the beauty and importance of plants and nature to create a more sustainable and harmonious world.
Tulsa Botanic Garden is a non-profit organization developing a botanic garden just 8 miles northwest of downtown Tulsa. A master plan unveiled in December 2012 calls for 70 acres to be developed into horticultural display gardens and facilities for education, outreach and research. The remaining 100 acres will be left natural for interpreting native flora and fauna.
In October 2015, the A.R. and Marylouise Tandy Floral Terraces, a three-acre ornamental garden featuring 8,000 permanent plants, three cascading water features and 5,700 square ft of seasonal color displays, was opened.
The Children's Discovery Garden opened in May 2016 as a two-acre wonderland garden environment encouraging learning through interactive play.
