The following is an opportunity for flexible, part-time, virtual volunteer work.

EmpreSomos is a non-profit social initiative. One of its main goals is the improvement of enterprising skills, knowledge, and know-how of youngsters and young adults in the countries of the Central American region, notably, Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua.

Main Responsibilities

The Facebook Strategic Advisor will advise and assist our volunteer team in the planning and monitoring of our Facebook ads campaigns, which are designed to enhance both the number of our Facebook followers and our free-website-services beneficiaries. These include:

  • Setting the goals of EmpreSomos awareness strategies in the countries of Central America to attract new followers and engagements on our Facebook page and website.
  • Work with the volunteer team in the implementation and monitoring of the strategy.
  • Tracking progress and making the relevant campaign adjustments towards the planned goals and objectives.
  • Devote a minimum of ten hours/week to the tasks for three months.

Qualifications

Significant experience in the planning, content production, and targeting of Facebook ads

Strong organization and communication skills

Strong passion for progressive change

Familiarity with content production in social media platforms

Experience with social listening, measurement, and analytics (such as Google Analytics and other relevant tools)

Spanish speaking a plus

Online Mentorships: Free access to international mentors in partnership with MicroMentor, providing personalized online guidance for every step of the entrepreneurial journey.
E-Learning & Training: Facilitated access to leading MOOC platforms to enhance technical and interpersonal skills vital for today's business success.
Digital Knowledge Repository: Excellent for sharing research, best practices in entrepreneurship and innovation, and celebrating the region's most innovative entrepreneurs and leaders.
Geolocation and Events: An interactive map of regional support services and resources, along with the promotion of entrepreneurship learning and networking events, designed to inspire and connect our community.
