Kent County Community Action collaborates with several partners throughout Kent County to distribute United State Department of Agriculture (USDA) food to eligible households on a quarterly basis. Our one-day distribution will include providing eligible households with a box of food from The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP).
We are looking for about 10-15 volunteer for each day.
Please do not volunteer if you are experiencing symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat, cough, fever and/ or difficulty breathing.

Description
The Community Action Division focuses on meeting emergency needs such as, but not limited to, food, utility assistance, housing, transportation and socialization for residents of Kent County. Additionally, we assist with areas of self-sufficiency, medical insurance enrollment, tax preparation and information and referral services.
