  1. Be trained to use a Read-Only version of EPIC Medical Records software.
  2. Answer the phones in the Pastoral Care Office; using EPIC to inform the callers from local churches if any of the members of their congregation were admitted to the hospital recently.

Volunteers must have had all necessary doses of a COVID-19 vaccine AND have completed the waiting period to ensure the maximum immunity. Volunteers must always wear a mask (e.g., cloth) over the nose and mouth.

  • Orientation or Training
  • Wednesday and Friday 9:00 am to 11:00 am.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and phone skills. Must be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be comfortable with basic computer skills. Ability to take EPIC training and pass the qualifying exam.
