Website Graphic Designer - Virtual Volunteer Position

We are looking for a creative Graphic Designer to take lead with the development of our new website currently under construction. In this role your primary function will be to manage the creative direction and full aspects of our website. You will design graphics to visually communicate the organization’s messaging to youth in the community by conveying our vision and mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to develop fresh new visual imagery for our new website
• Create and design approx. 5-7 pages on the site
• Design and produce original creative high-res digital images
• Upload pictures from archive to the site
• Maintain standards for fonts and colors within the contest of the organization brand
• Maintain the website through weekly updates and/or as assigned

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience and/or knowledge in website graphic design and/or related field
• Knowledge of GoDaddy products and services preferred
• Strong understanding of graphic design, strategy, best practices, and implementation
• Video producing and editing and photography skills not required but a plus
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Works well independently and proactively as a part of a team

Requirements:

• Must have a personal computer and cell phone
• This position requires a min. of a 3-month commitment with an average of 5 hours per week
• Position commitment is subject to renew and extension by agreement from both parties
• If selected, must attend organizations 30min virtual orientation
