Voting is a cornerstone of American democracy. Due to Covid-19, there is a need for over 900,000 volunteers to help work polling stations across the United States. Will you sit on the sidelines when your democracy needs you?
Poll workers volunteer by county - by electing to volunteer, VOTunteer, in partnership with Power the Polls, will automatically connect you with the county officials where you live.
Each county has it's own requirements, training program, and stipend amount.

Working with VolunteerMatch, the country's largest volunteer engagement network, and others, we reach millions of active volunteers. Non-partisan VOTunteer has the unique ability to access and motivate this important asset. Covid-19 has reduced the number of available election workers. VOTunteer helps fill this urgent need.
Description
VOTunteer, a nonpartisan project, was created to help fill the urgent need for election poll workers. Covid-19 has created a large and immediate need need for election volunteers, as there are an estimated 250,000 open positions needed for this November's election. VOTunteer believes working at the polls is working for democracy.
