Preparing for the distribution of groceries to our community takes a team of dedicated volunteers to prepare the food. This includes sorting, checking food safety, stocking and packaging foods for distribution. Training and guidance provided.
Mondays 7am - noon, dry good sorting. Noon -2pm bulk items. Tuesdays 7am - noon, fresh food sorting. Noon - 2pm bulk items. Wednesdays 7am - 10:30am, fresh food sorting followed by distribution 11am - 5pm. Friday 7am - 9:30am, fresh food sorting followed by distribution 10am - 1pm.
This activity is appropriate for any person age 14 years and older.
**High school students are allowed when school is not in session. During remote learning, please connect with the volunteer coordinator regarding your school schedule. Middle school students must be accompanied by a parent.
