Grocery Rescue is an essential part of providing nutritious foods for our community. Picking up meats, produce, dairy and more from local grocery stores six days per week increases the quantity and quality of the services that we are able to provide.
We currently have drivers, we need partners to work alongside our drivers to collect and return to the food bank to store foods properly. Food safety is important, and training is provided. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, bend and twist. Driver's license preferred. Driver's license and good driving record mandatory to assist with driving, not so to be a partner. The Food Bank's cargo van is utilized for this program.

- The shift varies in length of time based on amount of donations available and speed of work. Flexibility and communication are key.
- Because this is a job for two people, being able to make a commitment is important. Providing as much time as possible to find a replacement when unable to be there is greatly appreciated.
