Join us at The SOULE Foundation, a new-founded organization purposed in promoting the educational advancement of LGBTQ Youth of color. We need writers and editors that are interested in creating content that supports LGBTQ Youth in all aspects.

Authors:

Regular authors would be expected to submit at least two articles per month on topics that will support LGBTQ youth of color as they navigate life. Think like how-to guides, advice of topics like bullying, looking for a mentor etc. Authors should be open to debate and willing to work collaboratively. Most pieces are around 700 and 1500 words.

Editors:

Our editors are encouraged to work with the content production team to promote high-quality journalism. They will publish pieces by authors. Our editors must commit to around 10 hours per month of volunteering.

Experience in journalism is welcome, but we are also open to all voices and experience levels.

You can find the website here: https://www.soule-foundation.org/

We look forward to working with you in the future!

This would be a volunteer position as we are still small and working on finding a grant writer and fundraising volunteer to increase capacity.
