Board of Directors Opportunity for Nonprofit
For more than 10 years, Hilson Management has helped at-risk families and individuals breakthrough cycles of hardships by empowering them to reach their highest potentials. Through our We Care Homeless Prevention Initiative, our clients are able to regain their independence and become productive and active members of the community. As a member of the Board of Directors, you can help Hilson Management develop strategies to support and grow this high impact program.
We are seeking individuals who are integrated into the community, with the skills and willingness to perform outreach and engage donors and volunteers.
Over the course of a three-year term, you can expect the following responsibilities: attend monthly board and committee meetings, ensure effective organizational planning, ensure adequate resources and proper financial oversight, enhance the organization's public standing, plan, execute, and attend events, and recruit board members as needed.

Hilson Management was founded with a vision of providing services for at-risk populations and empowering them to their greatest potential. One of our programs is the "We Care" Homeless Prevention Initiative. This program offers rental assistance. case management, referral services, and life necessities. Assist with housing for individuals who are on the verge of becoming homeless. Our goal is to help with activities of daily living, social skills, assist with educational, volunteer, and employment opportunities.
In 5 months, we have successfully assisted and stabilized four families by providing temporary shelter as well as transitional housing through the We Care Initiative.
