Neighborly/Meals on Wheels Pinellas County has expanded its food delivery services to homebound seniors to include grocery deliveries! This service fills gaps in access to food many seniors have. Volunteers assist once or twice per month to pack the grocery bags then deliver to 10-15 clients. Hours are generally 8:45am to noon.
Volunteers complete an online application (link below), attend orientation, and are background screened prior to service. Volunteers are needed currently in the mid to northern regions of Pinellas County. Neighborly volunteers practice physical distancing and do not enter clients' homes.
