The purpose of this position is to help us improve our social media presence to recruit volunteers, supporters, and donors. We are seeking someone who is passionate about our mission and is able to make a 6-12 month commitment of 2-4 hours per week. Learn more about our organization at www.avpcolorado.org.

Objectives of the position:

-to brainstorm and execute ideas to drive social media engagement

-assist in managing Facebook and Instagram accounts

- create content for posts

-assist in creating a marketing plan

For more than thirty years, AVP Colorado, formerly the New Foundations Nonviolence Center, has helped people in Colorado prisons and communities transform their lives. Through Alternatives to Violence workshops, we give people the tools they can use to learn new ways to communicate and resolve conflict without resorting to manipulation, coercion, or violence.
