This past year, over 91 million acres of the Amazon were destroyed and millions more in Central America. Why should YOU care? Because the majority of species in the world live in Tropical Rainforests. Because Tropical Rainforests give our Planet oxygen. Because Tropical Rainforests help to regulate the world's weather patterns.

We are not just talking about this dire situation - we are working to fix the problem. We are Planet Rehab and we are working in Panama to plant trees - especially the most important and highly endangered Almendro Tree, which is depended upon by over 1000 organisms!

We would love for you to join our team! If you are passionate about saving the Rainforest, then this is the campaign for you. No, you do not have to move to Panama (although at some point you may want to come and work with us here). You can help us from your own home!

Expectations

General:

• Commitment to the objectives of Planet Rehab
• Passion towards making a difference
• You can choose your volunteer path and how you want to bring your skills to the table
• Opportunities include: Grant Writing to obtain more protected rainforest, Article Writing that will expand our blog and educate members, Social Media Coordinator to broaden our audience across all ages, Business Development to create business and corporate sponsorships that fund our projects, Campaign Strategist to pitch exciting ideas to boost people’s awareness of our initiatives, and so much more!

Experience:

• Fundraising
• Marketing (Preferable, but not mandatory)
• Leadership
• Strong written and oral communication
• Willing to promote Planet Rehab to your own network
