KNCB Wednesday Workdays in the Butterfly Garden(September)!

Butterfly Garden Milkweed


Most Wednesdays we will have a group workday 8am - 11am in the Park Circle Butterfly Garden (located on the grounds of the Felix Davis Community Center in Park Circle). Volunteers are welcome to attend the full volunteer workday, or for an hour or two as your schedule permits.

For the month of September, our group volunteer Wednesday Workdays are:

  • September 2
  • September 9
  • September 16
  • September 23
  • September 30

For your safety and comfort on volunteer days, please be sure to dress comfortably for working outside. Please wear closed-toe shoes and bring any needed items with you such as a hat, sunscreen, or bug spray. We have bottled water in our office along with a water cooler for your refillable bottles.

If you have not already, please be sure to complete our online volunteer information form at:

We must have a volunteer information form on file for each volunteer before you can begin your volunteer shift. This form must be completed yearly. This form includes the safety guidelines and social distancing guidelines that all volunteer must follow during their volunteer shifts.

Keep North Charleston Beautiful was founded in 2000. KNCB is a [501(c)(3)] non-profit organization and an award-winning affiliate of Keep America Beautiful. Programs include Clean Cities Sweep, Flowerscape, the Butterfly Garden at Park Circle, the Butterfly Garden at Northwoods, educational field trips, and cleanup supply giveaways.
