The American Red Cross provides free preparedness programming to a variety of audiences. We help prepare businesses and community organizations for disaster through Ready Rating, teach youth about disaster preparedness through Prepare With Pedro and The Pillowcase Project, and a more general audience through Be Red Cross Ready. We need a leadership volunteer to coordinate, manage, and support these programs throughout Utah and Nevada. You'll be working closely with other volunteers and paid staff to ensure our communities are prepared and resilient -- especially during this particularly active wildfire season.
All of this work can be done remotely, and we would anticipate the time commitment to be about 10 hours per week.
