Arthritis Foundation New Jersey Chapter
Public Health Intern - NJ
The Arthritis Foundation, NJ Market is seeking a Public Health Intern interested in data collection and analysis. Position includes the following responsibilities:
In 2018, the Arthritis Foundation collected data from 18,000 online assessments and the data received reflects an inaugural baseline of patient reported outcomes from each of the 50 states.
With COVID-19, life for all of us has changed and since March, from survey data, we are finding increases in pain and depression. We would like to have people with arthritis take the survey, or if they have taken it, take it again as their lifestyle in many cases may have changed considerably.
The findings from the data collected will help us determine our programming for 2021.
Requirements:
The Fall Development internship will run through December 2020, with the opportunity to extend if desired. Spring and summer internships are available as well. This is a remote internship and part-time and full-time options are available. This is an unpaid career experience program; course credit may be provided.
