More than 1500 volunteers and seniors have been paired to date for Caring Calls, bringing warmth, conversation and social connection to DOROT's older adult community.
Matches participate in phone visits once a week over an eight-week period and last about 15-30 minutes each. DOROT provides information about good discussion topics and developing a friendship over the phone. This is a significant and meaningful opportunity for intergenerational connection and friendship.
Volunteers must be age 18+.

- Orientation or Training
- 15-30 minutes per week for 8 weeks.
- All volunteers must attend a Caring Calls Orientation and will be asked for two electronic references.
