The Salvation Army in Rochester, MN is looking for volunteers able to assist at our Day Center for unsheltered individuals. Our front desk volunteers take the temperature of all individuals that enter the building, take down their name, give them a name tag, and hand out basic needs items like shampoo, deodorant, towels, and bottles of water.
We need volunteers Monday-Friday from 8am-Noon and Noon-4pm. Please call 507-288-3663 with any questions about volunteering.

Description
The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services.
