Due to the restrictions caused by COVID-19 on in person one to one meetings, we are now offering virtual eMentoring for children aged 5 to 15. Volunteers will meet with their mentee via virtual platforms once every other week for 30 minutes to 1 hour. On the alternate week, they will communicate via a special messaging platform for Big Brothers Big Sisters participants. Mentoring sessions can consist of help with school work, building self esteem, character building, life coaching or just talking and being a friend. A variety of resources will be provided.

Description
We match children ages 5-15 with adult mentors in our Community Based program who spend 4 to 10 hours a month together doing fun activities that both the volunteer and child agree upon and enjoy! In our school based programs, volunteers meet the child at their school once a week to help with homework, play a game, be a friend or just talk. Our eMentoring platform connects Bigs with their Little virtually.
