Virtual Tutor Brigade

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Delray Beach Public Library Association, Inc.

Are you a retired teacher? Or pursuing a teaching degree? Do you want to help children and families struggling to home school due to COVID-19?

If you answered "yes", to any of those questions, then we urge you to consider applying to be part of our Virtual Tutor Brigade.

We are looking for qualified teachers, or people with extensive teaching experience, to help us help struggling home school families with tutoring.

Here's how it works:

Tutors will be expected to come to the library for their tutoring sessions. We have sanitized, socially-distanced laptop stations with headsets that you will use to tutor youngsters on Zoom. Your tutoring session will be up to 2 hours. You can volunteer for any number of days per week.

You should be familiar with Zoom, having teaching experience, and be willing to come to the library for your designated shift.

If you are interested, please send your resume to isabella.rowan@delraylibrary.org

For information, please send Isabella an email at the same address.
