We are currently soliciting volunteers to assist with the Explosives Detection K-9 Program at SJC! Your role will be to act as a "decoy" within the San Jose Airport where K-9 teams are conducting a search activity. You will be carrying a training item either on your person or inside a piece of luggage. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Minors can assist if they are with an adult, but will not be permitted to carry a training item. Our dogs are NOT bite dogs! They will not growl, bark or threaten to attack. They have what we call a "passive alert" to indicate they have found what they are looking for.
