The sky's the limit in terms of how creative and fun your donation drive can be!

Many people find it easy to help us raise needed supplies by simply asking their friends and family or doing a social media post. Many supporters will solicit local grocery stores, retailers, or other sponsors to collect needed items. Feel free to use and share our wish list (Below), which also contains canine supplies. When your donation drive is complete, simply contact us to let us know your donation is coming, deliver/send your supplies to us, and we'll take care of the rest.

About PACKAGES FROM HOME

Location:

5643 N 52ND AVE, GLENDALE, AZ 85301, US

Mission Statement

Packages From Home serves active duty US military members stationed or deployed overseas (to include military working dogs & military K9 teams) as well as homeless, transitioning, and at-risk veterans by providing them with requested food, hygiene, and entertainment items to boost morale and quality of life.

Description

On 9/11 Christian Lewis watched the Twin Towers fall and enlisted in the US Army infantry the next day. His mother, and Packages From Home Founder, Kathleen Lewis, sent him care packages while he was first deployed to Iraq in 2004. Christian said receiving Packages From Home not only provided needed and familiar items but also reminded him he hadn't been forgotten-that there were people back home supporting him. Unfortunately, Christian was the only soldier in his squad receiving packages and letters from home. Kathleen rallied her closest friends and decided to "adopt" Christian’s entire squad. The group began shipping packages to all of the troops in Christian’s unit and Packages From Home was born.

Today, Packages From Home is as busy as ever working to provide for active duty military members overseas as well as veterans stateside. In 2019 we sent over 10,000 care packages impacting over 20,000 active-duty servicemembers. We also impacted over 17,000 veterans by providing 45,000 lbs of food and 6,000 lbs of hygiene items. We also provided over 270 pounds of supplies for Military K-9s!
