McLaren Hospice

In-home hospice volunteers needed. Our hospice volunteers support our patients in their home by providing light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, grocery shopping, yard work (including mowing the lawn, if needed), walking, feeding, playing with any animals in the home. Volunteers are also a source of companionship and comforting presence to our patients and their families. Volunteers can also provide respite support if the primary caregiver needs a break, attend appointments or run errands. In-home volunteers do not provide hands on care and are an important part of our hospice team!
