Manage Our 'Zoom Room' During Presentations

Provide Zoom technical support to presenters in the Job Assistance program as they lead virtual workshops and orientations. Manage the virtual Zoom 'room’ from start to finish, including admitting guests, managing features (mute, chat, slide progression), and noting questions for the presenter to follow up on.

  • You are available to attend 1-2 two-hour sessions per week on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday mornings
  • You are fluent in Zoom presentation features
  • You are eager to know the presenter(s) and work as a team
  • You have a patient, warm, and welcoming presence
  • You are happy to play a supporting role during presentations
  • You live within the Chicagoland area

Description

Since 1975, People’s Resource Center has been bringing neighbors together to respond to hunger and poverty in DuPage County. With a team of over 1,500 volunteers, we offer nutritious food and other basic necessities like clothes and rent assistance for people facing tough times. And we connect people with resources--education and tutoring, jobs, technology, art, a caring community--to create a future of hope and opportunity for all.

Volunteer at PRC: Help in the food pantry or clothes closet, become a tutor, teach a class, organize a food drive, make a difference to a neighbor in need.
