Helping Palestinian villagers build their homes

We are proud to represent seven talented artists from Gaza. We are looking for an Art Marketing and Sales Team to help us sell their art.

There is no better way to tell a story than through an image. Seven artists from Gaza are doing exactly that and painting their perspectives on a canvas. Rebuilding Alliance decided to help them tell their story to the world. We successfully carried a collection of 100 paintings out of the Gaza blockade, exhibited them at the distinguished Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco and several colleges and Churches, exhibited virtually through an ArtNet gallery, and held on-site auctions.

Due to COVID, we are unable to hold exhibitions and require a new marketing strategy. We ask your help to design a marketing campaign for the artwork of Gaza artists, help us make sales, and generate revenue for these artists and our organization.

We are seeking an Art Marketing and Sales Team to join our team.

Here are the benefits that will accrue from your work: Stories are told, understanding develops, paintings are sold, generating income for the artists and our organization. And the benefit to you as the Art Marketing and Sales Coordinator is in the satisfaction of making all this happen - a great thing to put on your resume.

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented
  • Art History or Art Marketing Major
  • Experience with fine art sales
  • Online Event planning experience
  • Knows and loves the Middle East

We’re looking for candidates who are organized, trustworthy, and passionate about art. Please send a cover letter, resume, and 3 references to contact@rebuildingalliance.org

This is a virtual opportunity. Communication will be over Zoom, WhatsApp, and email. We welcome candidates from all over the world.

About Rebuilding Alliance

Location:

50 Woodside Plaza Ste. 627, Redwood City, CA 94061, US

Mission Statement

Rebuilding Alliance is dedicated to advancing equal rights for the Palestinian people through education, advocacy, and support that assures Palestinian families the right to a home, schooling, economic security, safety, and a promising future.

Description

We learned early-on that to build in war-torn communities one must partner locally with non-governmental organizations that hold the trust of the local community and maintain the highest standards of fiscal and personal integrity.

Everyone who works at Rebuilding Alliance is committed to building peace and justice through programs that make a tangible difference and together, we do our best to make RA a great place to work. Many who have joined RA as interns or in entry-level jobs have gone on to their dream-job or pursued advanced degrees.

One of our past interns wrote the following:

"I always talk about interning with Rebuilding Alliance as one of my most important, challenging and formative work experiences, especially when I'm in interviews. You asked and expected big things of me right away, and I'm so grateful for that - coordinating a teleconference series, making phone calls to important peacekeepers, offering insights in team meetings, updating our internet presence. These are skills that I value so highly, and that I'm sure will be so important as I enter this industry that is entirely new to me. I would also like to stay in touch with you and Rebuilding Alliance and help in any way I can in the coming years, whether through donations or volunteering my time when I'm back in the Bay Area."
