"More Art, Less Waste" Volunteer
Since we typically travel to schools for the "More Art, Less Waste" program, we will be supplying kits for students to build at home instead. Along with this, we will also be providing a Zoom presentation/Q&A to tailor our school program and better serve students in a new distanced learning environment.
We will need a team of dedicated volunteers to help assemble anywhere between 2,500-3,500 kits (at home or at the ReCreate warehouse) for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

Making hands-on exploration of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) learning accessible to all is the cornerstone of ReCreate's mission.
By integrating high-tech tools with reuse materials, we provide low-cost high-impact learning and enrichment programs to the students of our region. Our learning programs span from preschool through high school. Building interest in STEAM nurtures a more vibrant community, and creates a stronger future workforce.
In addition to our STEAM program, ReCreate provides waste reduction education and also diverts over 70 tons annually of unwanted items from businesses and individuals to "recreate" hands-on learning and creative expression.
