The Generation of Promise Program Coordinator VISTA will support the work of the Generation of Promise program (GoP). GoP is a ten-month experiential social justice educational program offered to high school juniors in Detroit and the metropolitan region. This VISTA would be supporting the GoP Program Manager to: - Support virtual program events, including monthly programming with local organizations and leaders; - Facilitate recruitment and outreach; - Organize alumni network relations; - Develop program curriculum; - Support evaluation tracking; - Update social media content; - Offer additional in-office support as needed. An ideal candidate is a creative self-starter and is enthusiastic about youth leadership and social justice education.
