The Salvation Army Booth Manor Senior Housing Facility (1421 Yale Place Minneapolis) is in need of 4 volunteers to deliver 60 prepackaged food boxes to resident’s apartment doors. The boxes weigh 35 to 40 lbs. each; volunteers will need to be able to lift and carry the boxes for the duration of the shift.
This opportunity occurs on the last Tuesday of each month from 11:30-2:00 pm

The Salvation Army offers social services and recreational programs with the goal of addressing specific physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of each family, individual, child/youth, or elderly person. Services provided include, but not limited to: emergency food shelves, school supply programs, rental/utility assistance, educational programs, outreach to the homeless, family and youth camping, community center programs, Christmas assistance programs, nursing home visitations, corrections programs, and disaster services.
