We are currently searching for 2 roles in social work.

We are looking for direct-service Virtual Social Workers and Virtual Social Work Associates (Researchers) to address the basic and complex needs of disadvantaged populations during their times of need. The purpose of these roles is to guide our clients in the right direction to improve their lives and reach their potential.

You must possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and most importantly, the ability to give back to the community in a virtual environment.

Geographic areas: Dallas, Northeast Texas, Oklahoma City, and Wichita, Kansas. We welcome social work professionals from throughout the United States who are willing to help us find resources for those in need across the country.

VIRTUAL SOCIAL WORKER

This role would be responsible to schedule appointments to virtually meet with the client on a periodic basis to provide guidance and support to help the client make progress toward goals. The Virtual Social Worker would also fill out a simple report to keep Vivify Community Charities involved about the status of the case. These assignments involve fewer cases but are more involved with the client.

Example: A client who requests rental assistance may complete an intake form that indicates a lack of education, a serious health condition, and a history of domestic violence and human trafficking. This role would speak with the client on a one-on-one basis to help the client cope with problems and improve their lives.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, public health, or a related field as well as experience in the field helping the community.

VIRTUAL SOCIAL WORK ASSOCIATE (INTERNET RESEARCHER)

Virtual Social Work Associates are needed when a client requests assistance that is less complex in nature. The role involves responding to requests to support finding community resources to help clients.

Example: A client who was laid off from work due to COVID-19 may request rental assistance, and the intake form indicates that he or she may also need food. Vivify Community Charities would email the Virtual Social Work Advisor to find ways to address food insecurity, such as through school lunch programs, food stamps, or WIC.

The information provided by Virtual Social Work Advisors will also be added to the Community Resource database on our website to help others in need.

Minimum Requirements: This role must have knowledge of community resources to address basic human needs as well as experience using online resources to find government resources, nonprofit programs, and other opportunities to help the community.
