Individuals with prior tutoring experience may sign up to support OPFC students as needs arise. Knowledge in all subject areas is welcome. Virtual tutors should be familiar with using screen-sharing platforms such as Zoom or Webex.
We break down barriers that prevent young, underserved individuals from achieving education and career success.
On Point for College is a not-for-profit education and career attainment support program established in 1999. We aid individuals in overcoming the barriers to post-secondary education by helping them access and succeed in college and training and certificate programs.
We also help them leverage their skills and educations into meaningful employment opportunities. Since 1999, volunteers have played a critical role in making it possible for On Point to help more than 10,000 individuals pursue their dreams of higher education.
