Mission Statement

Our mission is to make meaningful changes that help police & communities unite.

Description

Vision Statement: One day communities will thrive because our police officers are mentally, emotionally, and spiritually healthy - reaching areas in the community that only they can.

Slogan: Together We Can | Police & Communities.

Description: Back the Blue Police is a Christian based organization focused on community and police out-reach and creating unity between police and citizens. While there are other groups and issues nationwide that involve similar topics, some of which attract controversy, we are committed to helping in a manner which is focused on results, and welcome any peaceful cooperation.

History: Back The Blue Police was created June 30, 2020 after Kara Railey, Founder & CEO, organized a Back The Blue March in Tulsa and hosted an appreciation luncheon for the Skiatook & Sperry Police and Fire EMT departments. While planning these events Kara received a few messages from counter protesters that wished to create unity and understanding among police and civilians. It was clear there was a need for all voices to be heard in a respectful and kind way. Back The Blue Police was created to serve as a catalyst for these voices.
