Can you help us provide bagged lunches for our youngest neighbors?

While some operations have been altered due to COVID-19, each Thursday, Safe Haven still serves around 200 individuals and families breakfast and lunch in our community. New Hope Housing is looking for your help in providing well-balanced, fuel-filled bagged lunches for the children being served at Safe Haven's day program. These lunches would contain a PB&J sandwich, juice and a variety of shelf-stable snacks and fresh fruit.

We are looking for volunteers of all ages and lunch-making expertise to step in and provide bagged lunches for the children being served. This is a great opportunity to give back during this difficult time, even from home!

Drop-offs will occur on Thursday mornings between 9-10 at Bailey's Shelter & Supportive Housing (5914 Seminary Road, Falls Church, VA 22041).

For more information, please contact Kelley at kmckeon@newhopehousing.org. All interested volunteers will need to complete a volunteer application and phone orientation before signing up. Please refrain from purchasing supplies until you are scheduled!
