FHR is searching for Education Program Administrative Volunteer. We are looking for someone
that can assist us by processing program applications, communicating with clients, keeping track of applicants, as well as sending resource information and satisfaction
surveys. Other tasks may be delegated throughout the process as necessary to successful
program design and process. Work can be done remotely or in person.

  • Work can be completed remotely or in-person, but does require computing skills, access to high speed internet, and computer programs for communication (Microsoft Office and email). Preference given to Southern Arizona residents
  • If work is done remotely, volunteer would also need access to audio/video interface for videoconferences and phone calls
  • Administrative experience required. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at a time
  • Spanish language helpful
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience working with Microsoft Office and email services
  • Ability to work on independently on a fast-paced environment with solid follow-through
  • Flexible schedule, though weekly time commitment is preferred

Description

Family Housing Resources, Inc. (FHR), established in 1991, is dedicated to providing low income individuals and families an opportunity to obtain quality, affordable housing through both rental and homebuyer support programs.

Since 1991, FHR has assisted nearly 12,000 individuals and families in achieving the American Dream: homeownership.

While continuing to provide access to safe and affordable rental units, homebuyer education and down payment assistance, FHR also offers access to student loan debt reduction services. FHR is committed to serving community needs in the most effective and productive ways possible.

Additionally, in 2015, Family Housing Resources, Inc. established the FHR Cares Community Investment Fund. Through grant giving, FHR Cares assists the efforts of organizations whose work directly improves the Pima County community, particularly in the vital area of affordable housing.
