With masks on, hands washed, and at least 6 feet apart, Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley has kept building. We hope you and your team will join us on site to keep building shelter, home, and hope for your community. Visit https://www.habitatebsv.org/health-and-safety for more information on our new Volunteer Health & Safety guidelines.
Team Building days with Habitat are a great way to bring your team together outside of the office and work together while giving back to your community. Team members will challenge themselves as they learn new skills or grow on their existing skills to help a homeowner in need. We provide all the tools, materials and instructions for the day with strict safety measures in place to make sure your team has a fun and safe experience.
Through our Home Preservation Program, we are fixing up homes for low-income families, veterans, elderly, and those with disabilities in San Jose. Partnering families often do not have the physical or financial capabilities to make necessary repairs on their homes. Your team will restore these houses by painting and/or helping with repairs, such as accessibility ramps and new window instillation. These updates will allow partner families to feel proud of their homes and improve their neighborhoods
Habitat asks for a financial contribution along with our Team Building programs to help offset the cost of materials and to support Habitat’s vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our Home Repair volunteer days can engage up to 15 volunteers per day and we ask for a donation of $3,000.
