#GiveRides

This is a growing, critical role within Heirborn's mentor program. Mentors are responsible for advocating for Heirborn clients from our www.giverides.com program. Heirborn clients are survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking and/or substance abuse, but have now reached a life of independence! This program was created to ensure we not only maintain these relationships, but are focused on growing them. Our mentors are there as a partner in their journey of recovery.

The role is to simply be available for support on a weekly basis:
- Weekly calls and/or text with your client(s)
- Monthly calls with Mentor team
- Provide weekly updates to Mentor team lead
- Opportunity to serve at Partner events (optional)

Mission Statement

Heirborn Servants seeks to improve every aspect of life by providing women in need with transportation, mentors, and bonding ties within their local communities. Our approach gives survivors of human trafficking, survivors of domestic violence, and single moms the support they need on every level to empower them to make lasting changes in their lives and the lives of their families. We want to help single moms and survivors find not only stability, but also passion and purpose.

Description

Transportation
We give women a way out of their current situation by giving them the means to move forward. We work through individual car donations, rideshare services, key partnerships with local dealerships, and financial donations to give single moms and survivors reliable transportation to get to work, school, doctor’s appointments, and all that life demands.

Transformation
We have a team of mentors-many of whom are survivors themselves-who come alongside the women in our ministry to provide emotional support, spiritual guidance, and friendship. We also offer small group discussions and outreach events to facilitate deeper relationships with God and fellowship within church communities.

Community Ties
We’re passionate about investing in our local community. That means helping others share their gifts by building lasting ties with community and corporate partners who want to contribute to our mission by providing the means to help the women we serve get back on their feet.
Our goal is to become a self-sustaining ministry, allowing recovered women to rescue and restore those still facing difficult or dangerous situations.
