Special Olympics Florida - Okeechobee County has an opportunity for volunteers to assist with the Young Athlete program weekly.
Young Athletes is an innovative sports play program for children ages 2-7 with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities and their peers, designed to introduce them into the world of sports.
The program will meet weekly beginning in January.
Dates and times are flexible - but will be 1 hour per week

Description
Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
