We are looking for adults that are available Saturday mornings and afternoons to volunteer at one of our Greenwich branch starting this September 2020.
Our volunteers act as classroom assistants, ensuring children engaging, are moving between classes correctly, giving teachers 10 minute warnings before the classes switch and supervising lunch times.
This term we especially require volunteers to help assist with the following:
- Helping to implement social distancing between students
- Supporting the teachers
- Ensuring the correct hand hygiene measures are taking place
In exchange for volunteering at the school, we can offer:
* References for employment and further education
* Payment of any travel expenses (zones 1 - 6 only)
* Priority for suitable paid positions which arise in the school
* Encouragement and response to any suggestions you have for the running of the school
We are particularly keen to hear from people who hold a current DBS check, but this is not a requirement as this can also be completed as part of the application process.
If successful you will be invited to attend the staff risk assessment meeting online before the start of term to discuss the safety measures we will be putting in place for yourself and for the students.
