OVERVIEW
Passionate about making a difference for kids in elementary schools? Enthusiastic about the idea that you can help nurture future innovators? Interested in helping bring 21st-century skillsets to elementary students in an online setting?
Petri-dish Science is looking for volunteers to assist in creating characters for our online curriculum. We use animated characters and stories to execute our Hands-on STEAM program. This is going to be part of a brand new website.
The ability to work with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are the primary requirements for this position. If you are comfortable using a different tool that is completely ok as well.
We are excited about our brand new initiative and look forward to working with you on this opportunity.

At Petri-dish Science we have fun , high quality year round after-school S.T.E.A.M programs for kids from Kindergarten through 3rd Grade.Our lessons focus on teaching Science , Engineering and Design thinking concepts .
Our Philosophy
Research has proven that children when engaged with science early on can develop a lifelong passion for it .
We believe that there are no right or wrong answers. Every science and engineering problem has many possible solutions and multiple ways to reach them.
We tightly integrate enquiry based hands-on projects, design thinking concepts , stories , games and the Arts within our science curriculum. This builds in our kids creative confidence and the ability to innovate fearlessly.
