AlterMed Research Foundation is seeking an ongoing Executive Director (ED) Assistant who is passionate about holistic health based on science and bridging to conventional medicine. This person must be organized, communicates well verbally and in-writing, has integrity & people skills, technology saavy, be willing to take direction from the ED, has a can do attitude, and can achieve results.

The current mission of AlterMed Research Foundation is to be a change agent, through research and education, to achieve the full integration of evidence-based complementary and alternative medicine into conventional healthcare so all people can enjoy optimum wellness. AlterMed plans to continue to carry out its mission with what has worked well in the past in 2 areas: (1) Education (e.g. Colorado Integrative Medicine Conference), and (2) Research (funding quality integrative medicine research at universities) and expand beyond these areas to help patients seeking wellness to navigate and to find credible health practitioners meeting their search criteria. We also collaborate with health partners / volunteers to find causes, evidence-based holistic treatments / lifestyle approaches/ cures, and prevention for chronic illness and cancer, leveraging the power of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and big data using Holistic / Lifestyle / genomics datasets.

This candidate must have a clean personal financial credit history (no bankruptcies, no foreclosures and unpaid collections) and background (passing credit and background checks) are required for this opportunity.
