Homestead Hospice is seeking compassionate volunteers to provide support for patients and families. Do you have special skills and talents? We have many opportunities to choose from and would be pleased to design a position just for you! Friendly visitors are urgently needed. A few hours a week is all we ask! As a patient care volunteer you may read with a patient, assist with arts and crafts, paint fingernails, sing a song, or relieve overwhelmed family to take a break. Know that hospice volunteering is as rewarding for you as it is for our families! No experience necessary as training will be provided.

Homestead Hospice is dedicated to our patients and their families. When someone you love is diagnosed with a life limiting illness, everything changes. We are here to guide you through this difficult journey so that you can spend quality time with your loved one.
Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance. However, care is provided regardless of ability to pay.
