We are looking for industry experts who want to give back to their community by laying the groundwork for groundbreaking technology that will help in the currently ongoing crisis and have global impact.

In this role, the Architect will have end to end responsibilities on strategy, design, and setup of cloud platforms with the unique opportunity to have an impact on the growth and process of the practice.
Our vision is to set up several platforms for volunteer management, remote doctor management, ventilator training, servicing requests, data storage, data analysis and interpretation and AI+ML tools to optimize the treatment of the ventilator.

Even if you don't feel like you have all the necessary requirements, maybe you can set some things up until a true expert comes along

Additional responsibilities for our Azure Architect include:

  • Working with our volunteer board and volunteer staff to design and deliver systems for complex custom projects using the latest cloud services
  • Ensuring solutions are designed for high availability, scalability, security and supportability
  • Acting as a specialist focusing on cloud platform and services implementation
  • Architecting Azure cloud environments from inception through production deployment

To be considered for this role you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant project experience designing and implementing resilient, highly available application architectures on Azure including entire cloud environment...not just a single workload
  • Software engineering background with heterogeneous infrastructure automation experience

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Installation, configuration, and development including work within a production environment
  • Be a clever problem solver with the ability to think on your feet when needed
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically with clients to understand business needs and create technical solutions in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to provide technical feedback and leadership to other team members

Mission Statement

Our mission is to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the world's medical workforce fighting COVID-19

Description

We are a non-profit organization building an infrastructure to develop, manufacture, distribute and operate remote-controlled ventilators and oxygen concentrators that will also gather high-resolution treatment data for scientific research and treatment optimization.
Our equipment will be distributed on a "what you can pay" basis. Our Ventilator is different from other emergency Ventilators in that it will be controllable over the Internet, with the medical professional observing the patient over a phone camera, thus reducing viral load on the medical professionals at the front line, enabling those in stable countries to help and allowing one doctor to have an overview over many patients.

Our Ventilator is now in testing and we are finalizing fine air control. Parts cost for a single unit are 300$ but will drop in mass production and bulk ordering maybe even down to 200$.

Our roadmap consists of 4 Versions which can be deployed over the internet. It is envisaged that the Ventilator will be assembled by qualified volunteers, go through centralized quality control and then distributed to places of greatest needs on an international basis. Once enough funding is raised, a part of the workload will be outsourced to specialized companies.
